WWF have a clear mission to care for the world around us.
Through our work with youth groups and young people, we’re aiming to inspire a new generation of sustainability champions and help young people make positive choices for a brighter future for our planet. To support leaders, we’ve provided a series of engaging resources and activities that will enable your group to build their knowledge and understanding of the natural world, and explore their values so they’re motivated and equipped to enjoy and care for our beautiful planet.
LET’S MAKE A DIFFERENCE
BECOME A GREEN AMBASSADOR
Green Ambassadors is our flagship youth programme that enables young people (ages 5 – 16) to learn more about the natural world, explore and share their love for it, and feel inspired to safeguard it.
Resources to support youth group leaders
We’ve developed a series of creative resources to inspire young people and engage them in taking action to help save our beautiful planet. They’ve been designed to support youth group leaders in the UK and we’ve done our best to meet the objectives of the core syllabus of some of the largest youth organisations in the country.
You can download our fantastic virtual visit pack, One Planet Future, to find out all about the world of WWF as well as our hugely popular Explore species series. To compliment our leader packs, we’ve also developed a series of creative activities for you to do in your youth group or at home. Complete any number of activities, email us at email@example.com telling us all about it, and we’ll send your group their own special ‘The Panda Made Me Do It‘ badge!
Our resources for groups include…
Themed activities and badges
Our popular themed activities encourage your members to take practical action, at home, at their meeting place and in the community; and you can reward them with our fabulous WWF badges along the way.
Climate change resources
Our engaging climate change resources have been designed for both scouts and guides. We’ve produced a range of exciting activities for leaders to help your members explore the issues of climate change in an engaging and motivating way.
Our engaging species resources have been designed for children aged 4 – 16, and enable your members to get a better understanding of our planet’s most endangered species, the threats they face, and how we can all take action to ensure their survival.
READY, SET, GO…
